Valentine’s Day 2015
Love thrives in the land of the tango, where Valentine’s Day is a vibrant celebration. Argentinians adore the celebration so much that they have dedicated a whole week in July to love, called “sweetness week.”
We’ve embraced the Argentinian love flourishing in the streets of Buenos Aires and brought it to Brisbane in an event sweet as sugar. Say te quiero the right way and join us for our Dia De San Valentin fiesta!
We will be celebrating the night with an Argentinian banquet. There will be two sittings available:
Session 1: 6:00 – 6:15pm – 8pm | $89
Session 2: 8:15 – 8:30pm – 10pm | $89

Our banquet will include signature Argentinian share plates for you to sink your teeth in to, as well as a few beverages to while away the night.

It’s time to wave good-bye to 2014 Argentine style – with a traditional asado! Our skilled asadors will be barbequing up a storm to deliver an Argentine style banquet for New Year’s Eve 2014.

CHE Asado & Bar | New Restaurant in South Bank Brisbane
CHE Asado is the latest and greatest restaurant to join the fleet of South Bank restaurants in Brisbane. This foodie haven is rich with variety and choice and we’re thrilled to bring our own unique flavour to the scene. Opening where The Point Bistro once resided, we’re bringing a flare of flavour and fun to South Bank’s restaurant precinct.
CHE is inspired by the traditional barbeque cooking technique asado to deliver a cultural experience like no other. Typically, authentic asado involves cooking a variety of meats, such as beef, on an open grill or over an open fire. When cooking over an open fire, the coals are always made from native plants, as trees such as eucalyptus and pines permeate the meat with their over-powering smell. The perfect asado is usually accompanied by grilled vegetables or a light fresh salad.
We have taken inspiration from these traditional cooking techniques to create a menu rich in flavour and in culture. This authentic menu features fresh produce and quality ingredients to deliver the ultimate experience.
